Tuuli Rähni was born in Tallinn, Estonia and in 1986 completed piano studies at the Academy of Music. In 1991 she completed piano studies at the Estonian Academy of Music with Professor Peep Lassmann (former student of Emil Gilels). Tuuli graduated with Cum Laude In 1991 and began her master's studies at the University of Music in Karlsruhe, Germany both in piano solo and later in piano chamber music and graduated with honors.
In 1997, Tuuli moved with her husband to Kyoto, Japan and worked there as a piano teacher at the Kyoto University of Music.
As a pianist and chamber musician, Tuuli Rähni has given concerts in many European countries, in Japan and in Iceland. Tuuli has performed on radio and television and together with her husband, clarinetist Selvadore Rähni, recorded CDs for Naxos.
Tuuli moved to Iceland with her family in 2005. Here she completed her organ studies as a soloist and cantor at the National Music School. Her organ teacher was Björn Steinar Sólbergsson.
Tuuli has played an organ concert at an organ summer in Hallgrímskirkja in Reykjavík, an organ summer in Tallinn Cathedral, an organ summer in Lüneburg, Germany. In the fall of 2022, she went on an organ concert tour to Germany, among other things she played in Marktkirche Hannover and Grosse Kirche in Bremerhaven.
