The Department of Music at the Iceland University of the Arts, in collaboration with Hallgrímskirkja, invites you to the annual student concert, a partnership that has now been running for 11 years.

This year, the concert is dedicated to the songs of Sveinbjörn Sveinbjörnsson. His most famous work is undoubtedly Lofsöngur, the national anthem of Iceland, with lyrics by Matthías Jochumsson. At this concert, the audience will have the opportunity to hear a varied selection of Sveinbjörnsson’s other beautiful songs, performed by talented students of the Iceland University of the Arts.
