Tómas Guðni has taught music across Iceland, both piano and wind instruments. He has collaborated with a wide range of artists in various musical genres, including Ólafur Kjartan Sigurðarson, Davíð Þór Jónsson, Dimitri Ashkenazy, Þóra Einarsdóttir, and Sveinn Dúi Hjörleifsson, as well as choirs such as Schola Cantorum, Voces Masculorum, and the men’s choir Fóstbræður. He has also composed and arranged music.

At the organ, Tómas Guðni has given solo recitals in Iceland and Sweden and has taken part in performances of larger works within the field of church music. He currently serves as Director of Music and organist at Seljakirkja.
