Hallgrímskirkja Choir Autumn Concert FOUR HANDS & FOUR LEGS - Opening Concert of Organ Summer in Hallgrímskirkja 2026

WITH FOUR HANDS & FOUR LEGS

 Opening concert of Organ Summer in Hallgrímskirkja on Sunday, July 5th at 5:00 PM.

 During the concert, Hallgrímskirkja organists Björn Steinar Sólbergsson and Steinar Logi Helgason will play both of the church's organs, the Klais concert organ at the west end and the Frobenius choir organ by the choir steps.

 The program will include works by; Eugène Gigout, Johann Pachelbel, Johann Bernhard Bach, Jón Nordal and Maurice Ravel.

 During the concert they will also perform Prelude & Choral (organ performance) for two organs by Þorkel Sigurbjörnsson, which was premiered when the large Klais organ was inaugurated in 1992.
