Lunchtime concert in support of "Hrókur alls fagandar"

On December 30th at 1:00 PM, violinist Guðbjartur Hákonarson and cellist Hrafnhildur Marta Guðmundsdóttir will hold a pop-up / duo concert in Hallgrímskirkja to support the Laufásborg Chess Club "Hrókur alls fagnádar", whose chess children are aiming for the European Primary School Chess Championship in Croatia in the spring of 2026.

Beautiful string music will be performed in the spirit of Christmas and winter, in keeping with the space of the church and the tranquility that characterizes this beautiful time of year. The concert is 30 minutes long. The church is open to the public and the tower is accessible to visitors.

Admission is free, but voluntary donations will be accepted and all proceeds will go directly to the association.
