 Christian Barthen (born 1984, in Saarbrücken), is organist and artistic director of music at the Bern cathedral, organ professor at the Bern University of the Arts (HKB), and international concert organist.

 Studied organ, piano and harpsichord as well as church music and music education in Saarbrücken, Paris, and Stuttgart. Prizewinner of renowned organ and music competitions, including the Grand Prix de Chartres. International concert career as an organist throughout Europe, Russia, South America, and the Far East. Radio, television and CD productions for Naxos classics and Ifo/Organ as well as various ARD, SRF and Radio France stations. Guest lecturer at several universities in Germany, South Korea, Colombia, and Finland.
