 The Trio of Svafa Þórhallsdóttir / Tríó Norðsól is a Nordic chamber ensemble consisting of musicians from Iceland, Sweden, and Denmark. The trio brings together soprano, baroque cello, and keyboard instruments including harpsichord, organ, and piano.

 Their repertoire spans a wide range of musical periods, from Renaissance and Baroque music to Classical, Romantic, and contemporary works. Through this varied program, the ensemble highlights the development of musical styles across centuries while bringing a deeply personal artistic interpretation to each performance.

 For this concert, Ensemble Norðsól presents works by Nordic composers alongside music by Antonín Dvořák, Robert Schumann, and Gabriel Fauré. The program unfolds as a musical journey from sunset through twilight and the dreams of the night, until the sun rises once again the following morning.
