Welcome to a festive Christmas hour on Boxing Day in Hallgrímskirkja when Björn Steinar Sólbergsson performs a magnificent and varied Christmas-related repertoire by Bach, D'Aquin, Guilmant and Vierne. Also original Icelandic Christmas music that will be performed publicly for the first time.

The concert will feature the premiere of two works by Hrafnkel Orra Egilsson. A fantasy on the folk song "With a joyful voice and a holy sound" and a Chaconne on the folk song "Hátíð fer að heunus ein". The program also includes a Pastorale on the Christmas hymn "The night was so beautiful alone" (2022) by the same composer.

The concerts are festive and offer the perfect Christmas atmosphere, tranquility, and beauty.
