A 30 minute pop-up concert with Norwich High School for Girls Choir. 

The concert is  open to the public and  presented by the Norwich High School for Girls Choir.

About the group:

Renowned for their exceptional musicality and versatility, the Chamber Choir represents the pinnacle of music-making at our school. Bringing together some of the region’s most talented young singers and instrumentalists, the ensemble maintains a vibrant schedule highlighted by annual appearances at Norwich Cathedral. The choir is frequently joined by outstanding pupil instrumentalists, whose exceptional technical skill and artistry add rich, varied dimensions to our repertoire. Building on the acclaim of recent international tours to Austria and Barcelona, the ensemble is thrilled to bring an inspiring program of choral and instrumental works to audiences across Iceland.

 

Our ensemble is comprised of exceptional student vocalists and instrumentalists, including multiple soloists and scholars who regularly achieve regional and national acclaim. Balancing rigorous academic pursuits with high-level music training, these young musicians demonstrate a level of artistic precision and depth well beyond their years. Whether performing complex choral music or featuring as instrumental soloists and accompanists, our students bring a mature, expressive sound and a shared passion for international cultural exchange to every stage.

As Director of Music, Mr Hall leads our school’s vibrant musical life, overseeing a comprehensive program that regularly produces singers and instrumentalists of regional and national distinction. An experienced conductor and educator, Mr Hall has led the Chamber Choir and featured instrumentalists through acclaimed concert seasons and international tours to major cultural destinations, including Austria and Barcelona, alongside high-profile annual performances at Norwich Cathedral. For this tour of Iceland, Mr Hall has curated a captivating program showcasing the full depth of our students' vocal and instrumental talents.
